On Siemens ecu's with MPC5xx processor when using "disable" there can be two result:

1. The MIL light will be off but in diag you will see the error signaled as a warning;
2. The MIL light will be off and in diag you will not have any error.

Instead where you have the "remove" option you can get another two results:

1. The MIL light will be off but in diag you will see the error signaled as P0000;
2. The MIL light will be off and in diag you will not have any error.

The solution used to "remove" can vary if the file is read by OBD or BDM. The software evaluates the proper solution to apply after analyzing the file structure for the needed information.

The different ecu software will behave differently and only trying you can see the final result.
